Patrick Walden, the previous lead guitarist within the British rock band Babyshambles, has died, in response to a joint assertion his bandmates posted on social media. “It’s with deep remorse and unhappiness that we share the information of Patrick Walden’s loss of life,” wrote Babyshambles members Pete Doherty, Mick Whitnall, Drew McConnell, and Adam Ficek. “We really feel very lucky to have identified/beloved and labored with him and we kindly ask for respect and privateness throughout these troublesome occasions.” Walden was 46.
