The third and ultimate installment of the Go-Betweens’ field set anthology sequence, G Stands for Go-Betweens, will likely be launched on December 13. Spanning the 2000-2006 output of the beloved Australian indie-pop duo, the 4xLP, 7xCD set contains vinyl represses of their ultimate three albums—The Buddies of Rachel Value, Vibrant Yellow Vibrant Orange, and Oceans Aside—plus dozens of rarities and unreleased tracks. A group of fourteen unreleased songs recorded 1991 completes the set.
The fourth LP within the set is an acoustic radio session recorded for Bayern 2 Radio in Munich; Oceans Aside has been blended for the LP repress by unique producer Mark Wallis. B-sides, extra radio classes, and demos spherical out the bonus supplies. Take a look at the complete tracklist through Domino. The duo’s surviving member, Robert Forster, gives archival supplies and liner notes in a 112-page ebook that includes different essays and writing too. The primary 421 orders include a ebook from the late Grant McLennan’s private library and a signed bookmark from Forster.
The G Stands for Go-Betweens field set sequence launched with its first quantity in 2015, masking their output between 1978 and 1984. The second quantity, spanning ’85-’89, arrived 4 years later.
