Courtney Barnett is again along with her first new music in two years. The Australian indie=rocker has shared the brand new music “Keep in Your Lane,” together with a music video directed by filmmaker Alex Ross Perry. Test it out beneath.
Barnett recorded “Keep in Your Lane” to work by way of the stress of bottling up emotions and an airing of grievances. Becoming a member of her within the Los Angeles studio to file had been Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa, the Final Shadow Puppets’ Zach Dawes on bass, and John Congleton behind the boards as a producer. Per a press launch, Barnett has been “quietly making her dwell return” by road-testing new music at intimate exhibits currently. On Wednesday, October 22, the singer-songwriter will convey “Keep in Your Lane” to the nationwide stage by performing the brand new music on The Tonight Present With Jimmy Fallon.
Though Barnett put out Finish of the Day in 2023, her final studio album was technically 2021’s Issues Take Time, Take Time, as that latest LP was an instrumental file that includes music Barnett conceived for the documentary movie Nameless Membership. Her subsequent full-length file would be the fifth studio album of her profession.
