Underscores has dropped her first new track of 2026. “Inform Me (U Need It)” is the third style of April Harper Gray’s still-unnanounced third album, following her 2025 singles “Do It” and “Music.” In a self-directed music video, Gray steals a mysterious USB drive and goes on the lam whereas its proprietor tries to trace her down. Watch it beneath, and preserve an eye fixed out for Jane Remover and Fraxiom within the diner scene.
Gray put out her final Underscores LP, Wallsocket, in 2023. Since then, she’s guested on Oklou’s Choke Sufficient in addition to tracks by Yaeji and Umru.
