Damon Albarn has launched one other tune from the forthcoming Gorillaz album The Mountain. The brand new single, “The God of Mendacity,” options Idles. Test it out under.
Albarn wrote “The God of Mendacity” with Idles frontman Joe Talbot. He recorded it in London and Devon, England, and Mumbai, with bansuri participant Ajay Prasanna and percussionist Viraj Acharya. In an announcement, Gorillaz’s fictional frontman, 2D, mentioned, “Can I inform you a secret? Doubt could be very tiring however questioning issues is actually good for you.”
The Mountain is out March 20. The follow-up to 2023’s Cracker Island contains current singles “The Completely satisfied Dictator” (that includes Sparks) and “The Manifesto” (that includes Trueno and the late D12 rapper Proof).
