The Roots and Reside Nation City have revealed the lineup for the 2025 version of the Roots Picnic. Headlining the occasion is D’Angelo with the Roots, and there are co-headlining units by Meek Mill and Lenny Kravitz. Additionally slated for the occasion are Pusha T, Glorilla, Tems, Kaytranada, 2 Chainz, Miguel, Latto, and extra. The Roots Picnic 2025 features a particular Jeezy set celebrating the twentieth anniversary of his album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, in addition to Musiq Soulchild ringing within the twenty fifth anniversary of Aijuswanaseing and the Roots enjoying Do You Need Extra?!!!??! for its thirtieth birthday. Among the many different performers are Adam Blackstone, Yard Band that includes CeeLo Inexperienced, Kur, Elmiene, Wealthy Medina, Crystal Waters, Lay Banks, Jermaine Dolly, Laila!, Funk Flex, Diamond Kuts, and DJ Aktive.
